Myths of the Rust Hills
Bitterweed Barrow is a sleepy little town in the rolling farm country only about 10 miles south of the Rust Hills. It is home to chicken butchers, wheat farmers, and the occasional woodsman.
The people here like their town. It’s a quiet, safe place, for the most part. It’s got everything most could want, and generation after generation are raised here, never going more than five miles from the village.
But for those with the means and the inclination, there is a fairly good road from Bitterweed Barrow to the great city. The distance can be traveled on foot in only three days, and occasionally merchants and minstrels come to town by that way. It is said to be safe to travel, though the possibility always exists of brigands.
